A very traditional dark roast that is perhaps the most classic flavor in the Peace family. It does gets intense: nutty, roasty and rich. Yet you'll note a very sweet, more malty flavor, too.

    I've been ordering a bag of these beans and of decaf french roast every six weeks for a long time and mixing them to make half caf, always great. Subscribing also seems to be the way to get the most freshly roasted beans!

    Great Roast!

    I've been subscribing to this wonderful coffee since the dinosaur's roamed the earth. Which is most days before I have my first cup 'o joe. At least, that's what they look like out of the corner of my eye. What I love about Peace Coffee's French roast is it's great, consistent flavor from bag to bag. For years. The quality is ALWAYS there. I know what to expect, I know how to brew it to my liking and I love supporting their mission. It's a win win. If you are a dark roast lover, give this one a go. If you put in the effort to make a great cup, this one won't disappoint. My suggestions: Get a good Burr Grinder (Peace offers the Baratza, which is my choice). Get a great coffee maker. I prefer the Technivorm Moccamaster when you wait for the holiday prices or renewed. There are soooo many ways to make amazing coffee. A good bean is the most important first step!
